Your Guide to the Stars: Planetary Transits for February 4 to February 10

This week is a week of getting things done, starting new ventures, and generally feeling on a more even and upbeat keel than you may have felt last week, when the lunar eclipse may have brought up all sorts of emotions. It’s also a week of no excuses. It’s time to go after what you want, be honest with others and true to yourself, and forge forward in the world with a clear sense of where you’re headed and what you want to get out of the week. It’s also a great week to set up some new habits, like a clean eating plan or a workout regimen. Here, pay attention to these dates and slay the day, regardless of your zodiac sign.

Monday, February 5
Find the Balance
If you don’t pare down your to-do list, today’s Libra moon may do it for you. You may be spreading yourself too thin, biting off more than you can chew, or making promises you can’t keep. The Libra moon encourages you to weigh the pros and cons of each task, and you may need to say no to live a richer, more intense life. Burning the candle on both ends isn’t a smart long-term strategy, and you know it. Taking on too much is taking its toll on you.

Tuesday, February 6
Make a Date

As Venus sextiles to Uranus, it’s a great time to expand your social circle and make connections. Take initiative and suggest a Happy Hour with your work team, or invite someone you’ve been meaning to get to know better to coffee. It’s up to you to make the first move, and a Tuesday out on the town (within reason!) will be well rewarded. You may feel like you’ve needed a social shakeup, and a mid-week hangout may be the best possible way to make sure that happens in your life.

Wednesday, February 7
Feel the Passion
A quarter moon in Scorpio cranks up your sultry side. This is a great night for some loving. Single? Self love counts, too. You may have felt too much in your head these past few weeks, especially if you live in a colder climate, where sweaters and coats make it tougher to connect to your body. Taking a long, slow, indulgent shower and feeling the water on your naked skin can help you tune into your physical needs.

Thursday, February 8
Plan an Adventure

A Sagittarius moon urges you to get out of your comfort zone. You don’t need to book a plane ticket, but it is a great day to make a start on vacation planning, or just to do something different than the same old routine. Remember: You make your reality. If you’re feeling bored, you’re the only one who can change that!

Friday, February 9
Let Go

As the sun and Mercury conjunct the south node, it’s time to let go of false hopes, dreams, and expectations. You may be holding a grudge or resentment. Now’s the time to give it up. A saging ritual or some sort of letting go ritual can be a smart way to clear your mental clutter and energy and make way for a future of possibility.

Saturday, February 10
Go Deep

Venus enters Pisces, and you may feel like you finally solved a puzzle related to who you are and your place in the world. You may have a lot of deep thoughts today. Write them down! The connections you’re sensing between yourself and the world are everything.
